7 DAYS MOROCCO DESERT TOUR

Day 1MARRAKECH – KASBAH OF AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADES VALLEY

In the late afternoon, after relaxing at the hotel, you will prepare for an amazing camel ride into the heart of the dunes to watch the stunning sunset. When you arrive at the camp, you will be welcomed with mint tea before settling into your comfortable tent, which has an unsuits bathroom and shower. As the Sahara reveals its beautiful evening colors, you will enjoy dinner with a musical performance around the fire, making for a magical night under the stars.

Day 4MERZOUGA – RISSANI - ARFOUD – ZIZ VALLEY – AZROU – IFRANE - FES

Today make sure wake up early to see the stunning sunrise over the dunes, with a beautiful show of colors and shadows. After breakfast, you’ll ride your camel back to Merzouga and meet your driver for the trip to Fes.

On the way, we’ll stop at Rissani’s busy market, which is especially vibrant on Sundays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays. You’ll enjoy the colorful sights, scents, and sounds of the market.

Your journey starts in Fes el Bali, the old part of the city founded in 789 ACE. Begin at the famous Bab Boujeloud gate and walk along the main street of Talâa Kebira. Admire the Spanish and Tunisian-influenced architecture as you pass shops and markets, looking for gifts and souvenirs. Visit the 11th-century Chouara Tannery to see traditional leather-making processes.

Next, head to Fes el Jdid, the “new city” founded in the 13th century, and admire the beautiful tile work at the 14th-century Al Attarine Madrasa. Enjoy panoramic views of the city from the Mellah, the old Jewish area and cemetery. If time allows, explore Ville Nouvelle to see the contrast in architecture.

The day will end with some free time for you to explore Fes at your own pace before heading to your accommodation

Day 6FES – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS- RIF MOUNTAINS – CHEFCHAOUEN
